Limited Capacity filling up

This 90-minute hands-on session will focus on using studio lighting to create modern children’s portraits. It will begin with a brief discussion of the roles that lighting, posing and connection play in the creation of a contemporary studio portrait. This discussion will be followed by the hands-on shooting portion of the program where the instructor will guide participants through several lighting/posing setups designed to emphasize depth, connection and intimacy.

At the conclusion of this program, students will have a better understanding of how to:
1) manipulate studio light to incorporate depth and dimension in portraits
2) create strong connections between the subject(s) and viewer
3) direct subjects into flattering and effective poses
