Every finished photograph starts on location. Join Lissa Chandler as she leads a unique and creative bridal session and discusses how she uses color and texture to create her signature bright and happy photographs. The three brides for this session will be dressed in vastly different dresses: the first will wear a white wedding dress; the second will wear a vintage wedding dress; and the third will wear a colorful wedding dress. All three brides will have pretty bouquets. This is the place to be if you love color and bright photographs! Don't forget to bring your camera as there will be lots of time for group shooting!

Here's what we'll learn!

- On location, we will discuss how background colors and textures can manipulate the entire feel of a photograph.
- By photographing several different models in bridal gowns, Lissa will demonstrate how to balance the colors of the foreground with the colors of the background to achieve bright and happy photographs.
- Shooting together, we will build our portfolios with three unique bridal looks.

Overall, the objective of this program is to teach photographers how to use color and texture to create bright and happy photographs.

Location:
This outdoor Boutique Program will take place around Pike Place Market, the Gum Wall and Post Alley, and/or the waterfront.

This urban area provides a lot of opportunities for interesting backgrounds and is only a few blocks away from the Westin. Pike Place Market is a busy urban market that is an iconic tourist destination. The Gum Wall and Post Alley provide interesting urban street scenes, as well as great color and texture. Beyond the Market, Gum Wall, and Post Alley, your group may venture down to the waterfront. The waterfront boardwalk area is a lovely place for capturing scenic shots of the sky, cityscape, and the ferris wheel. Please note that there are many steps required to get from the market to the waterfront. There is a small elevator available. It will take approximately 10-15 minutes to walk to Pike Place Market from the Westin, and the waterfront is an additional 10 minutes beyond the Market. To return to the Westin from the waterfront at the conclusion of the program (remember this walk is uphill), please budget 20-25 minutes.
