In this program, I will lead a group of attendees through a stylized senior photo shoot. I will help attendees understand how putting together styled shoots on their own will help boost their business as well as improve their craft. This program will consist of mostly shooting, and I'll be on hand to help attendees with posing, lighting and more. We will discuss the benefits of putting together styled shoots as well as how to incorporate styled shoots into a rep or spokesmodel shoot. I will help attendees with posing groups and will split up models so attendees can also break up into small groups in order to have ample time photographing all the models. Attendees should bring their favorite lenses, plenty of memory cards, camera and anything else they use when shooting. This will be a fun, on-location, styled shoot where attendees will walk away with amazing images for their portfolios, marketing and more!
In this program, attendees will learn: - How to style a photo shoot - How styled photo shoots help business and photographers - How to pose more than one senior for group shots - How group shoots can translate into model shoots for a rep or spokesmodel program
Location: This outdoor Boutique Program will take place at Sculpture Park.
Sculpture Park will give you plenty of beautiful water views, a very small area (about the width of a boat launch) of water access in the vicinity, greenery, and interesting urban spaces/sculptures. There is an interesting pier right next to the park with a great set of buildings and an open parking lot providing nice shade/open shade areas. Moving away from the Sculpture Park and back towards Pike Place Market (and the Westin), there are streets with some colorful or patina walls and interesting urban fixtures.
Travel time to the Sculpture Park can take 25-30 minutes. Attendees will walk briskly to the location, learn and shoot onsite, and then return to the Westin at a leisurely pace at the conclusion of the program so smaller groups can shoot in the variety of scenic spots on the way back. Remember that the walk back to the Westin is uphill, so travel times when returning to the hotel will likely be a bit longer.
